Fhedzisani Rannzwa, hailing from Limpopo in Nzhelele, embarked on an entrepreneurial journey with his poultry business, Ranndalamu Poultry Farming. Initially motivated by a string of job rejections, Rannzwa’s decision to enter the Fund A Chiller competition by Podcast and Chill stemmed from a need for opportunity amid stagnant job prospects.
The journey of Ranndalamu Poultry Farming was riddled with challenges from its inception in 2021. Limited funds and a lack of comprehensive understanding of poultry farming posed formidable obstacles. Rannzwa reflects, “We learned that a business should not be mixed with pleasure.” The intertwining of personal relationships with business transactions led to financial strain.
The news of being selected as a Fund A Chiller beneficiary evoked overwhelming joy for Rannzwa. He describes the moment as surreal, marking a turning point for his business. With newfound support, Rannzwa envisions growth and a vigilant approach to avoid past mistakes.
Beyond financial relief, Rannzwa recognizes the significance of Podcast and Chill’s endorsement. Leveraging the platform’s reach, he anticipates heightened visibility and support. Rannzwa affirms, “Already I know I have chillers from Podcast and Chill on my side.”
Looking ahead, Rannzwa harbors ambitions of national distribution and increased employment opportunities. His goal is to establish Ranndalamu Poultry Farming as a prominent supplier to major supermarkets across the country. Reflecting on his journey, Rannzwa offers words of encouragement to fellow entrepreneurs grappling with financial constraints
